Piston valves, we offer Piston valves with self lubricating sealing rings to keep you free from seat and gland trouble. Piston valves are leak tight isolation valves and any replacement of spares can be done on the line. Piston valve design is superior to other conventional valves, having advantage to correct any leakage in line. Piston valve mechanism is perfectly aligned, where a continuously guided piston slides between the two sealing rings without rotating. The sealing rings are separated by a ported cast steel lantern bush. The bottom ring rests on a cast machined groove of the body and upper packing ring is pressed by a bonnet on top. The bonnet rests on the top ring and when then bonnet nuts are tightened evenly it presses the lantern bush which in turn presses the bottom ring. Piston valve bottom ring serves the purpose of the seat while the upper ring serves the purpose of gland.  The pressure drop in this valve is considered as high as 18%.
